Oscar Pantalone was born in Como in 1976 and lives between Spain and Italy where he works as a professional photographer producing images in many photographic areas.A competent portraitist, he published “Il volto di Ischia”, a collection of black and white portraits of people of Ischia, in 2004 (for the Officina Ischitana Delle Arti Grafiche).. He has held personal exhibits: - Gli altri dellisola (Villa Arbusto Antiche Terme Belliazzi Osservatorio Geofisico, 2003) on immigration to Ischia; - Calace (Biblioteca Antoniana, 2004), which documented the production of instruments
played with a plectrum in the laboratories of celebrated lutists. -8 Bar solo (Banca Antonveneta, 2005), an exhibit dedicated to the world of jazz illustrated through black and white portraits of well known and not well-known musicians. - Paris (Spazio Arte La Colombaia, 2006): images of contemporary Paris. - Oscar Pantalone interpreta i giardini Ravino (Giardini Ravino, 2007): naturalistic and macro images.
- Sulla rotta del sogno (International Airport of Neaples, 2008) This exhibit presents a selection of images of the special places which have touched the artists soul and have been elevated to symbols of enchanted, almost dream-like beauty. - Horses ( Lacco Ameno, 2009 Seville, 2011) exploring horses movements and shapes.- Burundi ( Ischia,2010 Seville, 2011) A reportage of the African country in collaboration with the onlus association Luca Brandi.He has also taken part in various collective exhibits.
